Project Description
New eight storey commercial building with 2 levels of basement carparking and associated amenities. The building is to be constructed with a combination of conventional reinforced concrete construction and unencapsulated mass timber construction.
The project followed a Design and Construct procurement.
Sustainability: 5-star v1 Green Star Certification.
Services Provided
Earlymark utilised our online Specsuite as a central point to prepare the following:
– A performance specification, reflecting the D&C procurement route.
– A comprehensive Scoping schedule to align with the Architect’s Master Schedule and Drawings.
– A Submittals Schedule to track the required QA/QC steps.
Points of Interest
Earlymark cross-checked the Architect’s material selections as part of our in-house QA procedures and provided feedback indicating potential errors, contradictions, or concerns. Our Research Team were able to provide alternative materials, where required, for the Architect’s selection.
