Tai’s passion for art and design began as a young boy, drawn to drawing, painting, and creating (even ‘improving’ the family sofa).
His natural affinity for math, physics, and technical drawing led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in architecture and later, a Masters in related disciplines.
After over a decade consulting on refurbishment projects and facilities management, Tai joined Davis Langdon (now AECOM) in 2005. There, he became a Senior Specification Consultant, UK lead consultant on CSI (USA specification format) and a key member of the Technical Review Committee and led major projects like FIFA 2022 Al Janoub Stadium Precinct Qatar, KAFD Riyadh Metro Station, National Built Heritage Centre Diriyah, British Embassy Washington, Dyson Offices UK, Kuwait Int Airport, and Waterloo Int Terminal.
In 2019, he became a Director at National Specification UK Ltd, helping to grow the business while maintaining the belief that quality is paramount without compromise right through service delivery.
Outside of work, Tai enjoys spending time with family, experimenting with cooking, watching boxing or athletics, attending church events, jogging, swimming, and taking on DIY projects. His signature sausage roll, however, is a family favourite that never lasts long.
